Food Pay – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Food Pay!
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access and use of the Platiko mobile application, website, and related services (“Platform”). By using Platiko, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please stop using the Platform immediately.


1. Definitions

  • “Platform” refers to the Platiko app and website.

  • “User” / “You” refers to any person using the Platform.

  • “Seller / Merchant” refers to businesses or individuals offering products or services on Platiko.

  • “Delivery Partner” refers to individuals delivering orders.

  • “Service Provider” refers to individuals or companies offering rental or service-based solutions.

  • “We / Us / Our” refers to Platiko.


2. Eligibility

To use Platiko:

  • You must be at least 18 years old.

  • You must provide accurate account information.

  • You must follow all local laws and regulations.

If you are under 18, parental/guardian consent is required.


3. Use of the Platform

You agree NOT to:

  • Misuse the platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes

  • Interfere with or disrupt app functionality

  • Create multiple accounts without permission

  • Post harmful, abusive, or misleading content

  • Use automated scripts or bots

  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data

We may suspend or terminate accounts violating these rules.


4. Accounts & Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality.

  • You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

  • We are not liable for losses resulting from misuse of your account.


5. Products, Services & Pricing

Products, services, prices, and availability are determined by individual sellers and service providers, not Platiko.

Platiko is an intermediary, and:

  • Does not manufacture, own, or control product/service quality

  • Is not responsible for incorrect descriptions, availability changes, or pricing errors

  • May update listings without prior notice


6. Orders & Payments

6.1 Order Placement

Once an order is placed, the seller receives it for confirmation. Order acceptance may depend on:

  • Stock availability

  • Merchant approval

  • Service provider confirmation

6.2 Payments

Platiko may support:

  • Online payments (cards, wallets, UPI, etc.)

  • Cash on Delivery (if enabled)

Payments are processed by secure third-party payment gateways.

6.3 Order Cancellation

  • Users can cancel orders before the seller accepts or before partner pickup (rules vary by merchant).

  • Sellers or Platiko may cancel orders for safety, unavailability, or other valid reasons.


7. Delivery & Parcel Services

  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, demand, or partner availability.

  • Platiko is not responsible for delays caused by vendors, delivery partners, or external conditions.

  • For parcel deliveries, users must ensure items comply with local laws and packaging standards.

Prohibited items include (but are not limited to):

  • Hazardous materials

  • Illegal substances

  • Weapons

  • Live animals


8. Rent & Service Bookings

Users renting products or booking services must:

  • Provide valid identification (if required)

  • Return rented items in original condition

  • Pay for damages, late returns, or loss as specified by the service provider

Platiko is not responsible for disputes between users and service providers, but we may assist in resolving them.


9. In-App Chat

The chat feature is provided to improve communication but must not be used for:

  • Abusive, offensive, or threatening messages

  • Sharing personal payment details

  • Illegal activities

  • Spam or promotional content

Chats may be reviewed for safety and dispute resolution.


10. Location Access

The Platform uses your location to:

  • Show nearby products and services

  • Improve delivery accuracy

  • Match delivery partners

  • Enhance safety and fraud prevention

Disabling location may limit certain features.


11. Refer & Earn Program

Referral rewards are governed by the rules active at the time of referral.
Platiko may modify or discontinue referral programs without prior notice.

Fraudulent referrals are strictly prohibited and may lead to:

  • Account suspension

  • Reward cancellation

  • Legal action (if required)


12. Refunds & Returns

Refunds or returns depend on merchant-specific policies.
Platiko may assist in dispute resolution but does not guarantee outcomes.

Refunds may not apply for:

  • Consumable items (food, medicine, perishables)

  • Services already delivered

  • Items damaged due to improper use

A separate Refund & Cancellation Policy can be provided upon request.


13. Intellectual Property

All app content—logo, design, text, graphics, icons, code—belongs to Platiko and is protected by law.
Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any content without permission.


14. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain external links. Platiko is not responsible for:

  • Their content

  • Their privacy practices

  • Any harm or loss caused by their use


15. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Platiko provides the platform “as is” and does not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted service

  • Error-free functionality

  • Accuracy of listings provided by merchants

  • Delivery times or product quality

Platiko is not liable for:

  • Losses caused by merchants, service providers, or delivery partners

  • Delays or failures due to external factors

  • User negligence or misuse

  • Third-party service failures (payments, hosting, etc.)

Your use of the Platform is at your own risk.


16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access without notice if you:

  • Violate these Terms

  • Misuse the Platform

  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities

You may delete your account at any time.


17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.
Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.


18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your local jurisdiction unless required otherwise by regional regulation.
